Biography
2025-26 (Junior at North Texas): Started all 33 games...Averaged 13.5 points  (19th American), 4.8 assists (2nd American, 73rd NCAA), 1.7 steals (5th American, 94th NCAA) and 3.7 rebounds with a 2.32 assist-to-turnover ratio (5th American)...Led the team in minutes played with 1,081 (32.8) and in assists with 160, which were the fourth most assists in a single season in program history...Was just the second player in program history to score 400 points and have 150 assists in a single season...Scored in double figures 24 times and scored 20 or more points twice...Was second on the team in scoring (446), second on the team in free throws made (134) and second on the team in steals (57)...His 57 steals were the sixth most in a single season in program history...Scored in double figures in 16 of the final 18 games of the year...Had at least five rebounds in 12 games...Nearly had a triple-double on Dec. 2 in home win over Houston Christian as he finished with eight points, 10 assists and eight rebounds...His 10 assists versus Houston Christian on Dec. 2 was a career high and the most single game assists by a UNT player in five seasons...Had at least five assists in 19 games...Had 19 total assists over two consecutive games between Nov. 30 and Dec. 2...Played over 40 minutes in three games...Scored a career high 21 points twice, both in conference games.

Personal: Is the younger brother to Deja Terrell who was on the UNT women’s basketball team from 2017-19...Mother Kianna Taylor played collegiately at UTEP and graduated as both the program’s second all-time leading scorer (1,134) and rebounder (676)...Father David Terrell Sr. played football at UTEP and was drafted into the NFL where he played for Washington and Oakland between 1998-2004
