2022-23 (Sophomore): Played 18 of the first 20 games before missing the rest of the season... had 28 points, 16 rebounds and 6 steals... GAME HIGHLIGHTS: Added 6 points (2-2 3FG), 3 rebounds and an assist in 10 minutes in the AAC-opening win over Tulsa 1/1... Had a late corner 3-pointer to help seal the win over Iona in the quarterfinal of the Diamond Head Classic 12/22...Had 5 points and a rebound in 9 minutes at [24/25] Dayton 11/11... AWARDS: NABC Honors Court... AAC All-Academic Team.

Jefferson transferred from Washington State University prior to the Summer 2022 academic semester. He attended SMU for both June and July 2022. He will begin the 2022-23 with three seasons to play.  
 
2020-22 (Washington State): Battled injury all season. Jefferson played in 16 games averaging 2.6 points and 0.9 rebounds. He scored a career high in his first collegiate game netting 13 points in 18 minutes (adding 3 rebounds and 3 assists) against Alcorn State Nov. 9. In 2020-21, Jefferson medically redshirted the season.

Prep: Reclassified to the 2020 class to enter the college ranks a season ahead of schedule ... as a senior at Lincoln Prep named the 2019-20 Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association Most Valuable Player after leading the league in scoring at 27.9 points while also averaging 10.4 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 2.5 steals per game earning team and province player of the year for his performance ... was a four-time player of the month winning the award four-straight months from October through January and led his team to the final eight in tournament play for the first time in program history ... earned him the All-Canadian Player of the Year as voted on at the Signature All-Canadian Showcase, the premier high school All-Star event for Canadian seniors ... in addition to his high school resume, has been active in the Canadian youth national system including playing at the FIBA U16 Americas Championship in 2017 averaging 5.2 points in just over 13 minutes per game.

Personal: Jefferson Koulibaly is the son of Aicha Camara and Kalil Koulibaly . He has three younger siblings, Clara, Oumy Kalisha, and Rahim Kapi.
