2024-25 (Junior): Played 33 of 35 games...2.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, 0.7 blocks, 63.6% FGs...GAME HIGHLIGHTS: Season-high 13 points (6-8 FG) with 6 rebounds and 2 blocks in win at Boston College 12/21... Added 10 points and 7 rebounds vs Alabama State 12/3... Had 8 points and a career-high tying 4 blocks with 6 rebounds vs Prairie View A&M 11/18.

2023-24 (Sophomore at Kansas State): Averaged 2.6 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 blocks… Helped the Wildcats to a 19-15 overall record, including a tie for ninth in the Big 12 with an 8-10 mark, and a trip to the NIT… Saw action 31 games with 13 starts, averaging 11.3 minutes per game… Started each of the last 13 games… Averaged 2.6 points on 47.5 percent (29-of-61) shooting with 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game… Scored a career-best 15 points with seven rebounds and a block at Cincinnati (3/2/24) on 5-of-8 field goals and 5-of-6 free throws in 18 minutes… Scored 10 points vs. North Alabama (12/2/23) on 3-of-5 shooting and 4-of-7 free throws… Played a big part in the overtime win over No. 9/9 Baylor (1/16/24) with 6 points on 2-of-2 field goals and 2-of-2 free throws… Scored his first career points in the opener vs. No. 21/22 USC (11/6/23), going 2-of-3 from the field with 4 points in 12 minutes… Grabbed 72 rebounds, including 28 on the offensive end… Ranked second on the team with 32 blocked shots… Placed 12th in the Big 12 in blocks/game (1.03 bpg.)… Had 2 or more blocks in 9 games, including a career-best 4 vs. South Dakota State (11/13/23)… Saw action in all 18 Big 12 games…

Summer 2023 (Israel and Abu Dhabi with Kansas State): Played in all 3 games with a start in the Wildcats’ historic 10-day trip to Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, Israel, and Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., which ran from August 9-20…. Averaged 7.0 points on 53.9 percent (7-of-13) shooting with 7.3 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 0.7 blocks in 19 minutes per game… Also connected on 77.8 percent (7-of-9) from the free throw line… Led the team in rebounding (7.3 rpg.), while was second in field goal percentage (53.9)… Posted a double-double with 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting and a team-high 11 rebounds in the win over Al-Sharjah Club (8/18/23).
 
2022-23 (Sophomore at Kansas State): Did not see action as a redshirt.
 
2021-22 (Freshman at LSU): Played in 4 games (all coming in the first 10 games) for an LSU team that posted a 22-12 overall record, including a 9-9 mark in SEC play, and advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2021-22… Logged just 27 minutes, averaging 6.6 per game… Averaged 0.5 points on 25 percent shooting (1-of-4) with 1.3 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 0.5 steals per game… Scored in one game, posting 2 points on 1-of-2 field goals in his first college game vs. ULM (11/9/21) while also grabbing 2 rebounds and a block in 9 minutes… Grabbed 2 rebounds vs. Northwestern State (12/14/21) to go with a steal and a block.
 
Prep: Rated as a consensus Top 150 prospect out of Houston High School in Germantown, Tenn., where he played his senior season in 2020-21… Also ranked as 4-star recruit by Rivals… Rated as the No. 134 national prospect by 247Sports, along with the 20th-best center and the third-best player in the state of Tennessee… Helped lead Houston High School to their first-ever Class 3A State Championship in 2020-21 while playing for former NBA player Mike Miller… The team won their last 14 games of the 2020-21 season en route to a 23-3 record… Played alongside Johnathan Lawson (Oregon), Mason Miller (Creighton) and T.J. Madlock (S.C. State)… Averaged 9.4 points per game as a senior in 2020-21 where he played behind three double-digit scorers in Miller (18.7 ppg.), Lawson (16.6 ppg.) and Madlock (16.1 ppg.)… Scored 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in the 62-43 win over Can Ridge in the 2021 Class 3A State Championship game… Also added 3 assists, 2 blocks and a steal in 28 minutes… Averaged 7.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in 22.7 minutes per game in the 3-game state tournament… Earned Second Team All-Metro honors from the Memphis Commercial Appeal as a senior in 2020-21… Ranked No. 3 on the Memphis Commercial Appeal Elite Eight… Was invited to the Pangos All-American Festival in Phoenix in November 2020, where he played on a South Team that won the tournament behind event MVP Jabari Smith (Auburn)… Team also included K.J. Davison (Alabama) and TyTy Washington (Kentucky) among others… Averaged 10 points and 10 rebounds in the 2-game tournament, including a team-high 12 rebounds and 6 points in the championship game vs. the West Team, which included future No. 1 NBA draft pick Paolo Banchero (Duke)… Transferred to Houston from Cornerstone Christian Academy in San Antonio, where he played his junior season in 2019-20… Averaged 12 points and 11 rebounds per game… Named the top overall performer at the ARS/Rescue Rooter National HoopFest in Tampa after collecting 21 points, 18 rebounds and 6 blocks in Cornerstone’s win over St. Pete (Fla.) in late January 2020... Also attended Rayburn and Wagner High Schools in Pasadena, Texas… Averaged 8.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, 5.2 blocks and 1.4 steals in 20 games for Rayburn as a freshman in 2017-18… Coached by former NBA player Mike Miller (Houston) and Casey Barksdale (Cornerstone Christian).
 
Personal: Parents are Michael and Bernice Colbert… Has an older brother, Terrell… Grew to 6-feet by the sixth grade and was 6-foot-7 by his freshman year of high school… Dunked for the first time in the seventh grade while playing against freshmen… Held 17 high-major offers out of high school, including Arkansas, Baylor, Cal, Houston, Memphis, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest, before selecting LSU.
