Biography
Rand Singleton is in his second season (2011-12) with the SMU sports medicine staff as a student athletic trainer. He works with men[apos]s basketball, women[apos]s basketball and football.
Singleton, a member of SMU[apos]s class of 2014, received both the Distinguished and Rotunda Scholarships. As a freshman, he participated in the Hilltop Scholars Program. He is majoring in anthropology and will apply to medical school after graduation from SMU. He attended Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts, where he lettered for three years in water polo and swimming. Singleton, a native of Houston, Texas, has earned his Eagle Scout.
