Mr. Basketball in Texas after helping lead Duncanville to a 29-1 record and the Texas 6A State Championship... He was named UIL 6A MVP, becoming the first player in Texas to be named Mr. Basketball, win a State Championship and be State Tournament MVP since 2008… He averaged 15.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.1 steals… As a junior, he averaged 7.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.5 steals… He was on the Duncanville team that finished 29-5 and had reached the UIL Class 6A state semifinals before the tournament was canceled due to Covid-19… As a sophomore at Midland Lee, he averaged 15.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 3.7 steals...
