Biography
2011-12 (Sr.): Was a member of the third-place 400-yard medley relay team 11/17-19 at the Cougar Classic... Finished second in the 200-yard breaststroke 11/11 at Texas.
2010-11 (Jr.): Took first place in the 200 yard IM with a time of 1:56.09 against Georgia on 1/8.
2009-10 (So.): Was a member of the 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard medley relay... Member of the C-USA Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll.
Prior to SMU: Four-year letterman and team captain on high school swim team... Earned Swimmer of the Year his senior year... Voted Most Improved Swimmer his junior year... Also lettered in water polo... Academic All-American his senior year.... Graduated Top 10 in his class... Member of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, and Student Council.
Personal: Anticipated mechanical engineering major with a minor in math/physics... Son of David Steib and Rene Jacob... Has a sister and a brother.
