Honors and Awards: SMU Honor Roll with High Distinction (Fall 2023, Spring 2022, Fall 2021) … American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team (2022, 2021).

2024-25 (Sophomore): Competed at eight meets for the Mustangs as a sophomore.

2023-24 (Freshman): Saw action in eight meets for SMU during the season … competed in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free and 100 fly during the A-Sun Championships ... made season debut during double-dual against Incarnate Word and Oklahoma Christian.

Prep: Named the male Most Outstanding Swimmer at the state championships … finished third in the 50 freestyle, and fifth in the 100 butterfly at state … set the school record in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly… swam club for the Jupiter Dragons … set the club record in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle (SCY) … set the club record in the 50 and 100 freestyle, and the 50, 100 butterfly (LCM) … qualified for the Canadian trials for three consecutive years.

Personal: Born on May 20, 2004, to Alyson Parker and Bill Bouwman … has one brother Theo, and two sisters, Philippa and Imogen … plans to major in engineering.
