2014-15 (Sr.): Set a new PR in the 100- and 200-yard breast in Texas/Arizona double dual... Finished fourth in the 200-yard breast vs. Texas A&M, setting a new personal record... Placed sixth in the 200-yard fly vs. LSU... Finished ninth in the 200-yard IM in a dual meet vs. TCU.

2013-14 (Jr.): Recorded personal best-times in the 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard individual medley and the 200-yard breaststroke at The American Short Course Championship... Set a personal record in the 100-yard butterfly at the Texas A&M Invitational as he placed 32nd... Finished 16th in the 200-yard freestyle relay (Matthew Napier-Jameson, Hayden Corley, Nelson Turk) at the Texas A&M Invite.

2012-13 (So.): Placed sixth in the 200-yard breaststroke in a dual meet versus LSU... Finished 14th in the 200-yard medley relay (Justin Gibson, Hunter Middleton, Nelson Turk) and 31st in the 100-yard butterfly at the Cougar Invitational.

2011-12 (Fr.): Competed in the 100-yard butterfly, 100-yard freestyle, 500-yard freestyle, 200-yard individual medley, 200-yard freestyle relay, 200-yard medley relay, 400-yard freestyle relay, 800-yard freestyle relay throughout the season at different meets.

Prep: Was a Secretary of National Honor Society and a member of the Math, Science, French and Spanish Honor Society... Was the swim team captain and a regional medalist in 200 IM and 500 free.

Personal: Political Science and International Studies double major with a minor in Spanish... Chose SMU for its great academics and athletics and because both of his siblings went to SMU... Lists Michael Phelps and Lionel Messi as his favorite athletes... Parents are Adriana and Fernando... Has one brother and two sisters.
