2012 (Fr.): Placed 13th in her first career meet at the Baylor Twilight Classic (4K), finishing in 14:17.7... Finished in third place at the University of Texas-Arlington Invitational in 10:54.8... Paced the Mustangs[apos] at the Ken Garland Invitational (5k) at the University of North Texas, as she finished second in a time of 17:03.71... Placed eighth at the Notre Dame Invitational (5K), crossing the line in 16:48.4... Earned Freshman of the Meet honors at the Conference USA Championships, placing fourth in 17:03.9... Finished 17th at the NCAA Division I South Central Region Cross Country Championships... HONORS: First Team All-C-USA, All-Region, Freshman of the Meet at the C-USA Championships. Prior to SMU: Was team captain of her high school cross-country team during her junior and senior seasons... Also was named team[apos]s Most Valuable Runner during those seasons... Her team won two state championships during her tenure... Helped lead team to Nike Cross Nationals in 2009, where the team placed 10th in the nation... Participated in FootLocker Regionals her senior year.
