2025-26: CROSS COUNTRY: All-Region honors… Finished 22^nd overall with a time of 21:06.2 to earn All-Region honors at the NCAA South Region Championships… Placed inside the top-30 in five of her six races… Ran a personal best 6k of 20:24.6 at the Arturo Barrios Invitational… Finished seventh at the Texas A&M Invite 5k with a personal best time of 17:20.6… Placed eighth with a time of 15:06.5 in the Seashore 4k… INDOOR: Ran in four meets during the season… Placed 32^nd in the 5000m at the ACC Championships with a time of 16:58.54… Ran a personal best mile time of 4:59.09 at the Corky Classic… Clocked an indoor 5000m personal best of 16:26.59 at the BU Valentine Invitational, the sixth fastest time in school history… OUTDOOR: Competed at five meets during the season… Placed 14^th overall in the 10000m at the ACC Championships with a personal record time of 34:14.74, the fifth fastest time in SMU history… Ran a personal best 1500m at the SMU Invite with a time of 4:27.63… Clocked a personal best 5000m time of 16:22.19 at the Bryan Clay Invitational.

Prep:  holds personal bests of 9:41.72 in the 3k, 16:52.78 in the 5k, and 4:37.15 in the 1,500. She competed in the European Championship in 2024 -- finishing 24th. She competed twice in the European Cross Country Clubs Championship and was a member of the seventh place finishing team her junior year and the fourth place finishing team her senior year, finished 15th overall individually. She is from Lisbon, Portugal and studying Psychology at SMU. Her family consists of her parents, Romeu — an international athlete for Portugal — and Sofia, and sister Maria.
