Prior to SMU: A member of the Swedish National team ... Competed in the 2008 European SC Championships as well as the 2008, 2010 and 2012 European LC Championships ... Placed third in the 400-medley relay at the 2012 European Championships ... Earned bronze in the 50-freestyle at the 2008 World Junior Championships ... Was a member of the 400-medley relay team that earned bronze in the 2007 European Junior Championships ... Took bronze in the 100-freestyle at the 2006 European Junior Championships ... Won silver medals at the 2005 Youth Olympics in the 50- and 100-freestyle ... Swam club for Malmo Kappsimningsklubb under coach Johan Andersson ... Also lettered in gymnastics and tennis.
