Lexi Keberle

Keberle is returning for her 4th season on the SMU women's coaching staff as an Assistant Coach.

Since beginning her coaching career at SMU in the fall of 2022, she has helped the Mustangs win back-to-back American Athletic Conference Championships and make the Women's NCAA tournament with a first-round win over Alabama in 2024, and compete in its first season as members of the ACC. The Mustangs went 12-14 overall, 4-8 against ACC foes in the 2024-25 season.

Prior to beginning her coaching career at SMU, Keberle arrived at the Hilltop as a graduate senior and played the #1 spot in singles for the Mustangs as a graduate senior in the 2021-2022 season. She completed the Women's Singles season with a 16-8 overall record and completed the doubles season with a team-high 20 wins in doubles play and went 11-3 in duals on court. She and her partner Lana Mavor finished the dual season, winning seven consecutive matches, including nine of the last ten, a streak which extended through the Mustangs' AAC Tournament campaign. Keberle was awarded AAC All-Conference Team in her lone season as a player at SMU.

Before coming to SMU, Lexi played two seasons at NC State Wolfpack, where she helped them to the program's highest national ranking of #3 during the COVID-shortened 2020 season, and then helped the Wolfpack reach their first Final 4 in 2021. At NC State, Keberle registered 16 singles victories, including eight against ACC opponents. Keberle compiled four ranked singles victories during her 2021 campaign. In doubles, Keberle and her partner were ranked No. 61 in the final Oracle/ITA Rankings. In the shortened 2020 campaign, Keberle won 17 singles matches, including five wins against ranked opponents, and finished the year No. 83 in the rankings.

Before joining the Wolfpack, Keberle played for her home state school, Wisconsin, where she was the Badgers' first blue-chip recruit, First Team All-Big 10 as a freshman, and peaked at No. 46 in the individual ITA Rankings, as the Badgers earned their first NCAA Tournament bid in 12 seasons. She posted 50 singles victories on lines one and two for the Badgers.

Keberle hails from West Bend, Wisconsin, where she trained as a junior at Pleasant Valley Tennis Center and at the Western Racquet Club. At East High School, Lexi won the Division 1 State Singles Championships during each of her two seasons. She posted an incredible 61-0 singles record during her high school career.
