2025-26: INDOOR: Competed in six meets during the season… At the ACC Championships, she was the anchor of the school-record-setting 4x400m relay team that clocked a time of 3:37.47 and finished sixth overall… OUTDOOR: Competed in six meets during the season… Was part of the 4x100m relay at the ACC Championships that placed eighth overall by running the third fastest time in school history (44.88)… Ran the seventh fastest 200m in SMU history with a time of 23.97 at the TCU Alumni Invitational.

2024-25: INDOOR: Competed in five meets during the season… Ran in both the 400m and on the 4x400m relay team at the ACC Championships that finished ninth overall with a time of 3:38.81, the second fastest time in school history…  Ran a personal-best 400m time of 54.23 at the Ted Nelson Invitational, the ninth-fastest time in school history… Clocked a personal best 60m time of 7.84 at the Corky Classic… OUTDOOR: Competed in six meets during the season… Ran on both the 4x100m relay team and the 4x400m relay team, which ran the fifth fastest time in school history (45.17) at the ACC Championships… Recorded an outdoor personal best time of 54.73 in the 400m at the Beach Invite, the ninth fastest time in school history.

2023-24: INDOOR: Competed at four meets during the season… Ran in both the 200m and 400m at the American Championships… Was the third leg on the 4x400m relay team that ran the fourth fastest time in school history (3:40.72) at the Dan Kirby Invitational… OUTDOOR: Competed in six meets during the season… At the American Championships, she ran in three events, including on the 4x100m relay team that recorded the seventh fastest time in school history (45.45).

Prep: Ariana Sutton will join the Mustang sprint squad and bring impressive times to the table. She has posted times of 54.68 in the 400 and 24.90 in the 200. SMU will keep Sutton not too far from home as she comes from Schertz, which is south of Austin. She trained under Kristin Gorzell at Samuel Clemens High School and lettered each year. Sutton plans to study creative computing at SMU and said she chose to be a Mustang because she loved the track team and the program.
