2025-2026: OUTDOOR: At the 2026 ACC Outdoor Track and Field Invitational, she placed 33rd for the 1500m with a time of 4:33.69... Personal Record for the 1500m with a time of 4:25.63 at the SMU Invitational INDOOR: Was part of the DMR team who finished 12th overall with a time of 11:34.46 at the 2026 ACC Indoor Track and Field Invitational... Also competed in the 3000m, where she placed 33rd finishing at 9:38.24

HIGH SCHOOL: Elizabeth Smits is a DFW native, coming from Southlake where she graduated from Carroll Senior High School. She is a four-time NXN qualifier, 4-time Texas 6A State Cross Country Qualifier, New Balance Indoor Nationals qualifier and Nike Indoor Nationals individual qualifier. In the top 7% of her high school graduating class, Smits had a 4.3 GPA and will study biochemistry at SMU with a minor in music with a focus on piano performance. She is the daughter of Jan and Kathleen Smits, who ran cross country and track and field at the Unites States Air Force Academy. She has two younger siblings, Andrew and Amelia.
