SOPHOMORE (2024-25): (Cross Country) Had an eighth place finish in the season opener, running 15:10.3 for the 4k race. Ran a PR time of 18:11.6 in the 5k at the Texas A&M XC Invitational. Ran 21:18.3 in the 6k for a PR at the Arturo Barrios Invitational. Was a member of SMU’s first participating ACC Cross Country Championship team and ran at the NCAA Division I South Central Region Cross Country Championship. (Indoor) Ran PRs of 2:23.15 in the 800 and 5:11.50 in the mile at the Corky Classic. Ran aPr of 9:46.44 in the 3,000 at Boston University’s David Emery Valentine Invitational.

FRESHMAN (2023-24): (Cross Country) Did not see action. (Indoor) Ran a season best time of 4:43.98 in the 1,500 at the Clyde Hart Classic. (Outdoor) Grammas competed in the 1,500 several times this season, posting her season best time of 4:39.5 at The American Outdoor Track and Field Championships where she placed 18th.

HIGH SCHOOL: Ellie Grammas joins the Mustangs from Niles, Illinois where she trained under Chris Jon Simon at Loyola Academy and lettered all four years of high school. Grammas is a two-time conference champion and one-time regional champion in cross country. She also became the 3,200 conference champion in 2022. She has run a time of 5:10.71 in the 1,600. Grammas chose SMU because she said the school creates opportunities to succeed both athletically and academically. She plans to study applied physiology and sports management.
