Biography
2025-26: INDOOR: Competed in six meets during the season… Was the first leg on the school record-setting 4x400m relay at the ACC Championships that finished sixth overall with a time of 3:37.4 and was on the DMR team that placed 12th with a time of 11:34.46, the third fastest time in SMU history… Ran a personal best indoor 400m time of 54.89 at the Charlie Thomas Invitational, the eighth fastest time in school history… OUTDOOR: Competed in six meets during the season… Ran in three events at the ACC Championships and finished sixth in the 4x400m relay, eighth in the 4x100m relay (44.88 – 3rd in SMU history), and 11th in the 400m… At the SMU Invitational, she was the second leg on the 4x400m team that clocked the second fastest time in school history (3:37.03) and ran a personal best in the 400m with a time of 54.04.
HIGH SCHOOL: From Somers, New York, Haylie Donovan is a six-time New York State Championship Finalist and Medalist. She is the 2025 NYS Runner Up in the 400 with a time of 54.42 — her personal best. She is a two-time Millrose Games participant in the 300 and was a member of the U20 USA Team for the World Relays Pre-Game Show where she finished second. She graduated from Somers High School with High Honors and plans to study Psychology at SMU. She is the daughter of Richard and Denise Donovan and has one brother, Brian.
