UNDERGRADUATE: Texas native, Izzi Breaux, returns to her home state to compete for SMU while pursing a Juris Doctor. She spent her undergraduate career at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas where she was the 2024 Track Athlete of the Year, 2024 Great American Conference Champion in the 1,500, and was named First Team All-Conference four times. She also was named Great American Conference Athlete of the Week twice and was a NCAA DII Provisional Qualifier in the DMR. Breaux is a three-time NCAA DII Academic All-American and graduated Summa Cum Laude Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish in the Carl Goodson Honors Program. She also achieved the President’s List while at Ouachita. Originally from Longview, Texas, she is the daughter of Andy and Whitney Breaux and Lena Ogilvie. She has two brothers, Joseph and Grayson.
