Finished 10th in the shot at the Oklahoma Invitational (11.48m)... Outdoor: Placed 13th in the shot put (13.61m) at the American Championship... Finished 13th in the shot put (12.09m) at the Baylor Invitational... Placed fifth in the shot (14.00m) and 19th in the discus (40.65m), setting new PRs in both throws, at the Bobcat Invitational... Finished 11th in the discus (39.01m) and seventh in the shot (13.92m) at the TCU Invitational.

Prior to SMU: Placed second in the shot put and third in the discus at the 2014 state championships... Finished seventh in the discus in 2013... Also lettered in basketball and volleyball.

Personal: Chose SMU for its academics and the coaching staff... Grandfather threw shot put at Texas A&M-Commerce.
