2021-2022: Cross Country - Ran her best time in the 6k distance of 22:08.5 at the Arturo Barrios Invitational...Placed 55th at the AAC Championships....Placed 98th at the South Central Region Cross Country Championship...INDOOR - PRed in the mile at the Music City Challenge with a time of 5:03.41...Was on the Distance Medley that placed fourth at the AAC Indoor Championships where she also placed 15th in the mile and 17th in the 3000...OUTDOOR - Ran a time of 17:14.97 in the 5000 at the Mike Fanelli Classic...Placed 5th in the 1500 at the Alumni Muster with a time of 4:39.79 and also ran a time of 2:20.16 in the 800...placed 13th in the 1500 and 19th in the 5000 at the AAC Outdoor Championships...
Saeger competed at Santa Margarita Catholic High School where she helped the team to two CIF Track & Field team titles. She's posted personal bests of 2:16.29 in the 800m and 4:59.36 in the 1600. She was a team captain for three years on both the cross country and track squads. Saeger qualified for state twice in cross country and was a two-time CIF Finalist. In her senior season, Saeger won an individual CIF title in the 3200m setting a school record. Her father, Rich Saeger, was a five-time All-American swimmer at SMU and won a gold medal in the 4x200 relay at the 1984 Olympic Games. Kendall chose SMU because of the opportunities to grow as a student and an athlete.
