Trahan, Anderson Wrap Up Phillips 66 National Championship Action

STANFORD, Calif. (SMU) – Erin Trahan and Felicia Anderson represented the Mustangs at Phillips 66 National Championships at the Stanford Avery Aquatics Center in Stanford, California.

Trahan, who competed in butterfly events, posted a personal best in the 200-meter distance, finishing in 2:17.71. She closed out action in the 100, clocking a 1:01.39.

The Crowley, Louisiana, native returns for her senior season as the reigning American Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Year after winning the 50 free, 100 fly and 200 fly at the conference championships in 2019. She went on to compete in all three events at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.

The 2019-20 season will be the first on the Hilltop for Anderson after transferring from Oregon State. She is the 50 free program record holder at OSU and has top-five times in the 100 and 200 back and a top 10 mark in the 200 IM. In California, she competed in the 100 and 200 back posting times of 1:03.24 and 2:17.14, respectively.
