Waco, Texas -- The SMU men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Baylor Invitational Saturday in Waco, Texas. The Mustang women finished in ninth while the SMU men's "B" team finished with less than five runners - thus, the team received an "Incomplete" score and place. Baylor clinched titles in both the men's and women's divisions.
Leading the SMU women was Karin van Rooyen who placed fourth individually with a time of 17:50.80 in the 5K event. Adriana Vitkova finished 31st with a time of 19:49.00.
The SMU men's "B" team was led by Clint Bell with a time of 27:16.50 in the five-mile event. Brandon Reimer followed with a time of 27:19.70.
