Austin, Texas - The SMU men's and women's track and field squads closed out competition in the final day of the Texas Relays Saturday in Austin. The Mustangs' schedule was relatively light on Saturday compared to a busy Friday.

SMU's only competition took place in the men's high jump where Einar Hjartarson placed sixth in section A with a leap of 2.10 meters while teammate Mickael Hanany finished in 11th place in the high jump's section B with a mark of 21.0 meters as well.
