WAYZATA, Minn. (SMU) - The SMU men's golf team stands in ninth place following two rounds of play at the Gopher Invitational at the Spring Hill Golf Club on Saturday, Sept. 17. SMU fired rounds of 306 and 305 to stand at +35 (611). Host Minnesota leads the event at +9 (585).

Individually, Colt Knost is tied for 15th at 76-72-148-+4 and Will Dodson is tied for 22nd at 74-76-150-+6. Rounding out the SMU five-some is Dan Kleckner 79-77-156-+12-T40th), Wes Homan (77-80-157-+13-T46th) and Zeke Reyna (80-81-161-+17-T56th).

The tournament concludes Sunday with 18 holes.
