Kapolei, Hawaii (SMU) - SMU junior golfer Lacey Jones leads the field after round one of the Kent Youel Invitational at the 6,139-yard, par 72 Kapolei Golf Course. Jones fired a 2-under 70 over the opening 18 and leads the field by one stroke heading into round two. As a team, SMU stands in third place in the 18-team field at 305, just eight strokes back of leader San Francisco.

Mustang Kate Ackerson is tied for 16th at 76, while sister Jennifer Ackerson is three strokes behind her at 79, tied for 38th. Ashley Deatherage and Kristina Rothengatter are tied for 50th at 80 to round out the SMU squad.
