Volleyball Signs Three National Letters of Intent

Kathryn Wilkerson, a 5-11 outside hitter from Arlington, Texas, recently was named to the first annual AVCA High School Senior All-America teams for girls' volleyball. She was also honored as Dallas Morning News Volleyball Player of the Year after leading her team to the third round of playoffs for the seventh consecutive year. She attends Arlington Lamar High School and plays club volleyball for Texas Advantage. Wilkerson has been captain of her team for two years and played on the varsity squad for three year. She was named by Dallas Morning News SportsDay player to the week in Sept.
"Kathryn is a complete outside hitter," Seifert noted. "She has great ball control skills coupled with intelligence in shot selection."
Caitlin Adair is a 6-4 middle blocker from Austin, Texas. Adair attends Cedar Park High School and plays club volleyball for TCA. She was named one of Central Texas' 10 players to watch in the Austin American Statesman and Hill Country News Dazzling Dozen. Adair holds her teams highest kill average per game. She has garnered All District 15-5A, All Central Texas and All (Williamson) County honors. Adair also guided Cedar Park High School to two Texas District 15-5A Championships, a Regional Championship and to the State Quarterfinals.
"Caitlin is a middle blocker that has a huge wingspan and can cover the net rapidly," Seifert said. "She will be a force to be reckoned with!"
Kenzie Bukolt is a 6-3 middle blocker and outside hitter from Houston, Texas. She competes for Westside High School and plays club volleyball for Texas Elite. Bukolt was named to the All-District first-team twice and was named MVP of her team twice. She was also team captain of her squad for two seasons.
"Kenzie is a middle blocker who we plan to train on the right side," Seifert said. "Her strength is her blocking ability because she has experience in the middle and is very comfortable coming off of one foot. She can attack in a variety of play sets."
