Waco, Texas - The SMU women's cross country team faired well in the season-opener Bear Relays Friday evening in Waco, Texas. The duo of Jessica Jackson and Magan Moore placed 10th with a combined time of 29:45.43. The pair of Jessa Simmons and Anne Gustafson took 11th place with a combined time of 30:16.43. The duo of Sierra Anderson and Krystal Rodriguez finished in 12th place with a combined time of 30:45.38. Rounding out the Mustang entries were Rachel Barber and Kelsey Howard who totaled a time of 32:02.28 (15th place).

SMU travels to Houston for its next competiton, the Rice Invitational, set for Saturday, Sept. 9.
