Windermere, Fla. (SMU) - The SMU men's golf team slipped to 11th place following the second round of the Isleworth-UCF Collegiate Invitational on Monday. SMU shot a 10-over 298 and sits at 588 for 36 holes at the Isleworth Golf and Country Club. Fourth-ranked Georgia set a single-round team scoring record with a second round 275 to take over first place with a two-round total of 566.

James Minahan carded a 2-under 70 on Monday on the heels of Sunday's 72 and is tied for 12th individually. Reigning C-USA Golfer of the Week Ben Tewes carded a 74 is 21st at 144 after two rounds. Kelly Kraft and Draegen Majors both shot 77s and are tied for 61st at 151. Arwed Fischer rounds out the SMU squad in 84th place at 158 (81-77). Oklahoma State freshman Ricky Fowler and first round co-leader Jamie Lovemark of Southern Cal share the lead with two-round totals of 136.

The final round of the Invitational is set for Tuesday.
