MELBOURNE, Australia (SMU) - Three swimmers from the current and past SMU women's swimming and diving team are participating in the 12th FINA World Championships that are being held in Melbourne, Australia.
Today, current volunteer assistant coach, Martina Moravcova and student assistant, Flavia Rigamonti competed.
In the first event of the competition, Moravcova placed 18th in the 100 fly with a time of 1:00.02 while Rigamonti posted a time of 4:11.85 in 16th place in the 400 free.
Current Mustang swimmer, Petra Klosova will swim tomorrow in the 100 back as Rigamonti will race in the 1500 free .
