DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU men's golf team showed improvement on day two at the Gopher Invitational in Wayzata, Minn. Every Mustang equaled or bettered his score from Friday as SMU shaved nine strokes off its first-round effort. SMU is in 10th place entering Sunday's final round at 613.

Kelly Kraft continues to lead SMU, shooting another 74 to stand tied for 25th at 148. Scott Barton is one shot back of Kraft in 30th at 149.

LSU leads the team event at 573, and the Tigers' John Peterson tops the individual leaderboard at 6-under 138.
