BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- Kenzie Scovill scored in the 62nd minute to give the SMU Mustangs a 1-0 win over UAB at West Campus Field, in what was the Mustangs' final regular season road match. The Mustangs improve to 5-9-1 and 3-4-1 within C-USA, while UAB falls to 10-5-1, and 4-3-1 within league play.

Scovill scored in the 62nd minute, and now has a team-leading four goals on the season. Logan May recorded her team-leading fourth assist of the season on the play. Courtney Webb posted her third shutout of the season, and made five saves for SMU. Webb has a 0.80 Goals Against Average and two shutouts in her last six games this season. SMU outshot UAB by a margin of 13 to 8. The Mustangs earned three corner kicks to UAB's two.

The Mustangs return home to Westcott Field on Friday, October 23, as they take on No. 12 UCF at 7 p.m.
