Sambol, Mustangs Sixth At Louisiana Classic

LAFAYETTE, La. (SMU) - Mustang Marc Sambol and the SMU team are sixth individually and as a team, respectively, after two rounds of the Louisiana Classic at the par-72 Oakbourne Country Club. Sambol carded a pair of 2-under 70s on day one, while the Mustang team went 286-292 to sit sixth at 578.

SMU's James Kwon (74-71) is 17th at 145, while Kelly Kraft (73-73) is just outside the top-25, standing in 26th at 146. Max Buckley (71-78-149-T46) and Ben Tewes (72-80-152-T57) round out the SMU team.

The final 18 holes will be played Tuesday with a shotgun start set for 8 a.m.
