Kraft Wins Tiger Intercollegiate

COLUMBIA, Mo. (SMU) - SMU sophomore Kelly Kraft carded a final round 71 and then defeated Sebastian MacLean of Xavier on the second playoff hole to claim individual medalist honors at the Mizzou Tiger Intercollegiate at The Club at Old Hawthorne on Tuesday, April 14.

The SMU men's golf team took fourth in the 14-team tournament. SMU carded rounds of 289, 295 and 295 for a three-round total of 879. Kansas State won the tournament with an 874 total (280-294-300).

Mustangs James Kwon (73-76-71-220-11th) and Marc Sambol (73-75-76-224-T17th) also posted top-20 finishes individually to help SMU.

The Conference USA Championships will get underway April 19-21 in Orlando.
