No. 19 SMU Women's Swimming Swept In College Station

College Station, Texas (SMU) - The No. 19 SMU women's swim team dropped a pair of dual meets to top-10 teams, No. 6 Texas A&M and No. 8 Auburn, Saturday at the TAMU Student Recreation Natatorium. The Mustangs lost 172-110 to the Aggies and 204-87 to Auburn.

The meet was set up with all three schools competing at the same time. Audra Egenolf turned in the best performance of any Mustang, finishing second in the 3-meter diving event, with a score of 308.93. Devon Callaghan also had a strong outing, placing third in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:04.09.

SMU will return the pool in two weeks on Jan. 22, as it has its first home meet of 2010 against Rice.
