DALLAS (SMU) -- The SMU women's soccer team is currently ranked 35th in this week's NCAA RPI. The Mustangs are 10-5-2 on the season and have won five out of the last six games.
Two of SMU's losses have come against a top-10 RPI team; Portland (No. 3) and Oklahoma State (No. 6). The Mustangs are one of just two C-USA women's soccer teams to be ranked in the top 35 (UCF, No. 30).
A stand out for the Ponies has been junior defender Kaitlyn Eidson, who leads the team in goals (5), points (10), and game-winning goals (3).
Mustangs' goalie Courtney Webb has tallied seven shutouts and allowed only 16 goals for the season. Webb has protected the goal every minute for SMU in all 17 games.
The Mustangs are set to take on the Knights of UCF today at 4 p.m. in Orlando.
