Box Score vs. Marshall 
HUNTINGTON, W. Va. (SMU) - The SMU women's soccer team beat Marshall 2-0 Sunday afternoon. Kaitlyn Eidson and Shelby Hartweck scored for the Mustangs. With the win, SMU moves to 7-4-2 on the year and is now 2-2-0 in Conference USA action.
Eidson got SMU on the board with a goal in the 69th minute. Hartweck found a loose ball and crossed it to Eidson who buried the ball in the back of the net. The goal was Eidson's first of the season.
Hartweck added a goal of her own in the 81st minute of play when she sent the ball just inside the far past after collecting it on an attempted clear on a corner kick. The goal was Hartweck's second tally of the season.
Courtney Webb made four saves on the afternoon to collect her sixth shutout of the season and second in as many games. Webb stopped all 14 shots she faced over the two-game road trip,.
