BRYAN, Texas (SMU) - The SMU men's golf team wrapped up the weekend with a seventh-place finish at the Aggie Invitational at Traditions Club, recording a 1,136 for the unique play-six, count-five 54-hole event. Senior Kelly Kraft once again led SMU shooting 216 to tie for fourth in the loaded field. Kraft bested 13 GolfStat top-100 golfers en route to his finish.
Host and sixth-ranked Texas A&M scored an 18-shot victory over the field at 1,085. Top-ranked Oklahoma State came in second at 1,103. No. 18 Texas Tech finished third, Baylor took fourth and No. 8 Texas was fifth. Kent State took sixth ahead of SMU, but the Mustangs did best Tulsa, No. 24 Oklahoma, New Mexico and UTSA.
Oklahoma State junior and U.S. Amateur champion Peter Uihlein claimed medalist honors, finishing the weekend with a 6-under 210.
