Team and Individual Final Results 
GULF SHORES, Ala. (SMU) - The SMU women's golf team had three top-20 finishers and was just nine strokes off first place at the at the 2011 Conference USA Women's Golf Championship at the Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club.
Freshman Amy Ruengmateekhun tied for 10th place after shooting a 76 on day three for a tournament total 227. Maria Elena Villamil and Felicia Espericueta also had strong showings for the Mustangs as they finished tied for 13th and tied for 18th, respectively.
As a team, SMU placed sixth. The Mustangs carded 305 on the final day to finish with 913. UTEP won the conference title with a team total of 904.
