No. 16 Mustangs Close Out Competition At SMU Swim Classic

DALLAS (SMU) - The No. 16 SMU women's swimming and diving team closed out the SMU Classic Saturday night at Perkins Natatorium. No. 3 USC won the event with 366 points, followed by No. 19 North Carolina (292.50) and No. 10 Florida (289).

Sophomore All-America Rachel Nicol finished third in the 200-yard breaststroke, touching the wall in 2:14.91.

Fellow sophomore Nathalie Lindborg also picked up important points for the Mustangs with her third-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle, clocking in with a time of 50.45.

SMU hosts No.6 Texas A&M on Friday at 5 p.m. at Perkins Natatorium.
