PROVIDENCE, R.I. (The American/SMU) - Senior diver Devin Burnett was named the American Athletic Conference's Diver of the Week for the second consecutive week, league officials announced on Tuesday.

Burnett, the reigning conference diver of the year, was honored last week for his dominating performance in a dual meet versus TCU.

This week, the Plano, Texas, native was honored for third-place finishes in the one-meter, three-meter and platform dives at the Art Adamson Invitational, hosted by Texas A&M, this past weekend.

Burnett scored 357.85 on the one-meter board, 373.55 on the three-meter board and 375.75 on the platform. All three scores met qualifying standards for the NCAA Zone Diving competition.
