Results KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (SMU) - Devin Burnett collected three top-10 finishes, including a second-place finish in the one-meter, at the Tennessee Diving Invitational this weekend at the University of Tennessee's Allan Jones Aquatic Center.

"The team, led by senior Devin Burnett, performed very well," said head diving coach Jim Stillson. "This meet gave us a chance to compete against some of the top SEC teams and we performed very well."

Burnett, a senior from Plano, Texas, finished second in the one-meter with a score of 371.45 in the finals. In the three-meter dive, he placed third with a finals score of 357.25. Today, on the final day of competition, Burnett finished third in the platform with a score of 316.50.

Parker Meinecke and Hayden Hodges also turned in top-10 performances for the Mustangs.

In the platform, Meinecke had his best finish of the weekend, placing sixth with a score of 284.00. The junior from Fayetteville, Arkansas, also finished 12th in the one-meter (241.80) and 15th in the three-meter (270.20).

Hodges collected two top-10 performances this weekend, placing 10th in both the one-meter (294.10) and three-meter (307.35). The senior from Corpus Christi, Texas, ended the weekend with a 13th-place finish in the platform (254.55).

Daniel Pitts and David Bunn also competed for SMU. Pitts' best performance was a 12th-place finish in the three-meter (286.45). Bunn's best performance was a 12th-place finish in the platform (259.45).

"I am extremely pleased with our trip to Tennessee," Stillson said. "We also got some really tough days of training before the meet."

The divers return to action on Jan. 16 for a dual meet at Texas A&M at 7 p.m. CT.
