RESULTS 
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (SMU) - The SMU women's cross country team finished the NCAA South Central Regional race in 3rd place with a final team score of 132 points. Senior Shanoah Souza led the way for the Mustangs, coming in 9th place with a time of 20:20.6.
The rest of the SMU runners to contribute to the team score finished in the order of Karoline Skatteboe (20:36.5, 20th), Holly Archer (20:51.8, 29th), Anneke Grogan (21:09.4, 41st) and Rakel Barrientos (21:10.3, 42nd). Agnes Sjostrom finished in 58th with a final time of 21:33.7 and Rebekah Bosler came in 85th with a 22:23.4 time.
No. 3 Arkansas won the team portion of the race with a final score of 40 and had the individual winner in Dominique Scott who ran a 19:35.3. Texas came in second place with their final team score of 105 and Baylor finished just behind the Mustangs with 134 points.
This will put a cap on the season for the Mustangs as they just miss out on one of the two automatic bids to the NCAA Championship. The cross country runners will now prepare to run distance races for the track and field team.
