Collins Named To Conference Weekly Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (SMU/AAC) - Stephanie Collins was named to the American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll after averaging 11.5 points, eight rebounds and four blocks in a pair of games last week, conference officials announced Monday.
The Melbourne, Australia, reached double figures scoring in both games, nearly getting a double-double against North Texas with 10 points and a game-high nine rebounds. Collins also had five blocks in the contest. Against New Mexico, Collins posted a team-high 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting and hauled in seven rebounds.
SMU is 3-4 on the year, and opens a five-game road slate, starting at No.11/12 Texas A&M, today at 11 a.m. in College Station, Texas.
