COMPLETE RESULTS
IOWA CITY, Iowa (SMU) - American Athletic Conference all-league selection Madeline Wainman wrapped up competition at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championship on the campus of the University of Iowa. Competition was held Monday through Wednesday, with Wainman competing in all three diving disciplines.
Wainman's highest placement at the Championship was in the platform, an event in which she earned All-AAC honors in by placing second at the conference meet. She posted a 204.00 and narrowly missed out on finals qualification by two spots.
On day one, Wainman competed in three-meter, an event she qualified for the Championship Final and placed eighth in at The American Championship, and placed 43rd with a score of 212.35.
Wainman finished day two by placing 39th in the prelims of the one-meter, posting a final score of 232.20 after six dives. She was sixth in the Consolation Final of the event at the AAC meet.

"The top five female and top four male divers from each event at their respective zone diving meet will be eligible to compete at the NCAA championships. Additional place finishers in each event at each zone will be eligible based on the number of student-athletes from that zone who finished in the top 16 in that event at the previous year's championships NCAA championships. All eligible divers must have achieved the zone qualifying score prior to the NCAA championships in all events they wish to participate." - Swimming World Magazine
