Dishkova Named All-Conference

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- SMU women's tennis player Hristina Dishkova was named to the All-American Athletic Conference team, league officials announced on Thursday.
Dishkova, a junior, helped lead the Mustangs to a 16-7 overall record and berth in the semifinals of The American Championship. The Germany native played the No. 1 singles spot for SMU, compiling a 22-15 overall record and a 12-7 mark in the No. 1 slot.
In doubles, Dishkova and teammate Holly Verner set the school record with 26 single-season victories. In the fall, the duo advanced to the semifinals of the ITA Texas Regional, narrowly missing a bid to the ITA National Indoor Championship.
