DeChambeau Tied For Lead In The Pacific Coast Amateur

EUGENE, ORE. (SMU) – SMU's Bryson DeChambeau shot a two-under in the third round, and now holds a share of the lead heading into the final day of the Pacific Coast Amateur Championship at the Eugene Country Club.
DeChambeau is four-under on the tournament and tied with Will Zalatoris for first place.
The reigning NCAA Champion had his best front nine of the tournament, sinking five birdies while only bogeying once. DeChambeau's highlight of the day was making a putt from 40 feet away to birdy the fifth hole.
The SMU rising senior has continued to climb the leaderboard, improving his position in the standings after every round.
Fellow Mustang Austin Smotherman has not been able to regain his form following his strong first day, and is now at 10-over par for the tournament.
