LET Access Series // Ladies European Tour

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE, England (SMU/LET) – Mustang alum Jenny Haglund earned her Ladies European Tour card after a successful LET Access Series season. Overall, Haglund ranked second in the LETAS rankings. In 10 events, she compiled 23,925.83 points, finishing behind Sarah Schober of Austria.

The top five players on the 2016 LETAS Order of Merit will earn membership of the Ladies European Tour for the 2017 season, while players finishing in sixth to 20th positions progress to the final stage of Lalla Aicha Tour School, thereby skipping the first qualifying event.

Karlstad, Sweden, native Haglund won both the Norrporten Ladies Open and the Azores Ladies Open, having to come from behind in the final round to do so, and finished second at the Norwegian Ladies Open. Her final top-three finish of the season came at the Boras Ladies Open.

After a successful career with the Mustangs, Haglund turned professional in June. She was a four-year all-conference selection and finished her time as the Mustangs' all-time scoring average leader at 73.55. Haglund won the inaugural American Athletic Conference Championship in 2014, and earned runner-up honors in 2013 after tying for first, but falling in a playoff hole.
