TULSA, Okla. (SMU)— Samm Butler of the SMU men's tennis team travels to Tulsa, Oklahoma to compete in the ITA All-American Championships Monday morning.
Butler is one of 128 athletes and the only Mustang competing in the men's singles event. SMU is one of five total American Athletic Conference teams represented in the tournament. Butler is joined by representatives from Tulsa, Memphis, South Florida and Tulane. The junior is set to square off with Laurence Verboven of USC in the first round at 11 a.m.
Monday's schedule begins at 8 a.m. with the first round competitions set for all day. The second and third rounds are set to begin on Tuesday.
