The SMU women's basketball team wraps up the non-conference schedule Wednesday in Moody Coliseum against Seattle at 1 p.m. There is no charge for admission to watch the Mustangs attempt to go undefeated in non-conference games at Moody Coliseum for the first time since 2004-05 (6-0). The game will stream live on PonyUp TV, and can be heard on KAAM 770 AM in the Dallas area.
ABOUT SMU
The Mustangs are 8-4 overall, 5-0 at home, winning three of their last four games. Alicia Froling leads the team in scoring with 14.6 points per game, and is one of two players in the American Athletic Conference averaging a double-double with a conference-high 10.4 rebounds. Froling has seven double-doubles this season, and is tied for third at SMU with 26 in her career. McKenzie Adams averages 10.4 points per game. The Mustangs lead the league and rank fifth in the NCAA with 75 blocks, led by Dai'ja Thomas with 21 blocks.
SCOUTING SEATTLE
The Redhawks are 3-10, losing four of their last five games, all on the road. Kaylee Best leads the team with 16.5 points per game, and Alexis Montgomery is averaging 14.8 points. They are the only two players on the team scoring more than seven points. Seattle is getting outscored by opponents 68.0-61.1.

This is the first meeting between the two programs.
LAST TIME OUT
The SMU women's basketball team beat Texas Southern, 61-36, Monday evening, led by Alicia Froling's 12 points and six rebounds, both team highs. With the 25-point win, the largest margin of victory since SMU defeated Florida A&M 77-46 at home on Nov. 28, 2014, SMU improves 8-4 overall. The Mustangs are now 5-0 at Moody Coliseum for the first time since the 2013-14 season, when SMU advanced to play in the WNIT. Texas Southern falls to 5-5 on the season and 1-6 all-time at SMU.
LOOKING AHEAD
SMU starts play in the American Athletic Conference New Year's Eve at home against Cincinnati at 1 p.m. SMU then gets six days to prepare for the first road game of the conference schedule, playing at East Carolina Jan. 7. The game is the first of five in 14 days, including three road contests.Â
