HOUSTON (SMU) – The SMU men's golf team shot a 6-over-par 294 in the second round of the All-American Intercollegiate Saturday. After two rounds of play, SMU is 9-over-par (585) and sits tied for 11th on the leaderboard.
Daniel Connolly and
Maxime Blandin finished the day at 1-over-par (73), while
Alex Higgs and
Gray Townsend each carded 74s (+2). Townsend and Higgs are both even par through two days and tied for 25th on the leaderboard (70-74—144). Connolly is tied for 45th (73-73 – 146), while Blandin sits tied for 69th at 7-over-par (78-73 – 151).
SMU finished the opening round earlier in the day. Townsend and Higgs each finished 2-under-par (70), while Connolly finished 1-over (73).
