SMU Tied For Sixth At The Goodwin Following Day Two

STANFORD, Calif. (SMU) – SMU is tied for sixth at The Goodwin following a 23-over-par 303 in round two Friday at the Stanford Golf Course. The Mustangs are 27-over-par with a two-day total of 587 (284-303).
After day two, seniors Alex Higgs and Andrew Buchanan lead the Mustangs with two-day totals of 146 (71-75) and 147 (72-75), respectively. Both Higgs and Buchanan carded 5-over-par 75s in round two to sit tied for 30th and 40th on the leaderboard.
Gray Townsend shot a 4-over 74 in round two to finish the day tied for 55th (75-74—149). Freshmen Daniel Connolly and Henrik Olsson are both tied for 62nd following day two.
